As of January 2025, Olivers Lütjens has been elected as one of the seven members of the Federal Art Commission (EKK). The EKK advises the Federal Office of Culture (FOC) in the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA) on all issues of art and architecture policy and the promotion of art and architecture. It nominates laureates for the Swiss Art Awards in the categories of art, architecture and art outreach and for the Swiss Grand Prix Art / Prix Meret Oppenheim, and it recommends purchases for the Federal Art Collection.
